7 November 2003 – Garbetts Announces a new Financial Services LinkupGarbetts announces a new Financial Services link up We are pleased to let you know that we have entered into a new arrangement to deliver Financial Services advice to our clients. For a while we have used a panel of Independent Financial Advisors who we have made introductions to. One of these has been Simon Sheehan of Paul Jones Financial Services in Southampton. As a natural development to our existing relationship, Simon will be spending a day a week working from our Brading office. This will make Simon more accessible to Garbetts' clients and will allow us to extend the scope of our professional services to our clients so as to cover a range of Financial Advisory matters. Simon is able to advise on: - Pensions and retirement planning - Savings and investments - Life assurance and protection - Sickness, illness and accident protection - Inheritance and estate planning - School fee planning Many of these areas need to be looked at in conjunction with your tax and accounting affairs, therefore we are more than happy to arrange joint meetings with Simon and our staff. Obviously there is no compulsion to use these services, and if you have a Financial Advisor already we will happily liaise with them as necessary to ensure proper management of your affairs. Paul Jones Financial Services also have a general insurance arm, Paul Jones Insurance Services, and they are able to advise on all commercial, general and personal insurances and arrange competitive quotes. If you would like to have a chat with Simon, with no initial obligation, then please let our reception know and they will facilitate an appointment. Even if you are content with your current financial affairs, then an informal review may reveal aspects which haven't been addressed or where your arrangements could be more efficient. From a regulatory point of view, Simon will be providing services on behalf of Paul Jones Financial Services Limited, for whom he works. PJFS are Independent Financial Advisors regulated by the FSA.
